Project Overview:

The project ZapytajHR (askHR) is created in cooperation with a HR consulting company. My job was to prepare a communication strategy, than conduct UX research and to design Lo-fi mockups based on research.

The main goal of ZapytajHR is to enable people to consult their career with HR consultants. The platform's offer applies to various services such as: preparation for job interviews, changing career paths or work places, hiring employees or providing the latest market trends and data.

Problem Statement:

Poles spend an average of 33.5 years at work*. That’s why, a well thought-out and properly adjusted career path should be extremely important to us. Currently, there is no service on the market that supports and helps employees through consultation with HR experts. ZapytajHR service was created to fill this niche and enable the creation of an ideal development path. Sometimes it will be a change in the industry, in other cases a promotion to managerial positions, and in another cases, a restriction of the current job. Many people and just as many definitions of the word "success". The main problem to solve before designing service and product (platform) was an undefined target group for the company.

Challenges:

  1. A platform that enables people to consult their career path with a experienced HR expert
  2. A well thought-out communication strategy that sometimes takes into account a pejorative attitude towards HR specialists
  3. Identifying the target group and designing an appropriate service

Design Process:

Used the Design Thinking approach for solving this problem. To practice design thinking I followed the below process.

Idea

The idea was to make a website which enables people to consult HR specialists. The biggest problem of this idea was the fact that the company didn’t have specific target group, that’s why I made three different researches to analyse where the brand should “look” for their customers and how to communicate with their audience.
